Phased Electrical and Solar installs solar panels, batteries and off-grid systems for homes, farms and businesses in Quirindi and the surrounding district. We're a family-owned business based in Tamworth, less than an hour up the road, with over 20 years of combined industry experience - and our own Level 2 electricians do every job, from the first site visit to switch-on.

Family-Owned Solar Specialists Servicing Quirindi
Directors Shannon and Tom started Phased in 2018 so they could look after customers properly, without passing jobs on to subcontractors. That's still how we work. When you book us for a job in Quirindi, the people who quote it are the people who install it.
We design grid-connected and off-grid solar for homeowners, farms, businesses and industrial properties, using quality panels, inverters and batteries. Every installation is backed by a 5-year workmanship warranty, and most products carry a 25-year product warranty on top.
Home Solar and Battery Systems for Quirindi Summers and Winters
Quirindi gets the best and worst of both seasons - hot summer afternoons that keep the air conditioner running, and cold, frosty winter nights when the heating goes on early. A system designed only for summer can leave you short in July, so we look at how your household uses power across the whole year before recommending anything.
Most Quirindi homes suit one of our 6.6kW or 10kW solar and battery packages. Solar covers your daytime use, and a battery carries the extra into the evening, when the house is full and the heating or cooling is working hardest. As an Enphase Gold Installer and a Tesla Certified Powerwall Installer, we can walk you through the battery options and what suits your home. Find out more about our home solar.

Farm, Lifestyle Block and Off-Grid Solar Around Quirindi
The country around Quirindi is a mix of grain, cattle and horse properties, plus a growing number of lifestyle blocks on the edge of town. We install solar for properties out toward Werris Creek, Willow Tree, Wallabadah, Currabubula, Spring Ridge, Premer and Caroona, from a few panels on a weekender to commercial solar on sheds, workshops and stables.
For homesteads, bores and stock water a long way from the nearest pole, our off-grid solar systems are designed with enough battery storage and backup to get through shorter winter days and wet spells. We run our own excavator for trenching and site work, so there's no waiting on another contractor to get the job moving.
Electricians and Level 2 Electrical Work in Quirindi
As well as solar, our licensed electricians handle commercial and rural electrical work across the Quirindi district - new installations, upgrades, maintenance and repairs for businesses, farms and homes. That includes switchboard upgrades, lighting and power, three-phase power for workshops and pumps, and wiring for new sheds and rural buildings.
Because we're Level 2 accredited, we can also look after the connection between your property and the network, including new service connections, overhead and underground mains and metering. Building a new house on a block outside town, or putting up a shed that needs power run to it? We can handle the connection, the wiring and the solar in the one job.
We work around your day wherever we can, and offer emergency callouts when something goes wrong. See our commercial electrician page for more.

Quirindi Solar and Electrical FAQs
Will my solar keep the power on during a blackout?
Not on its own. For safety, a standard grid-connected system switches off when the grid goes down. To keep power on during an outage, you need a battery set up with backup, and we'll talk you through which circuits you'd want covered, such as the fridge, lights and water pump.
Do I need council approval for solar panels?
Usually not. Most rooftop systems on homes and sheds in NSW can go ahead without council approval as long as they meet the standard requirements. Heritage-listed buildings, heritage areas and some larger ground-mounted systems may need approval, and we'll check this for your property before we quote.
What should I do if hail damages my solar panels?
Turn the system off at the isolators if it's safe to do so, then give us a call. Hail can crack cells in ways you can't see from the ground. We use thermal imaging to find the damage and give you a written report to support your insurance claim, then take care of the repairs.
Can you put solar on a new house or shed I'm building?
Yes, and it's easiest to plan it early. Because we're Level 2 electricians, we can arrange the new service connection, wire the building and install the solar as one job, so you're not coordinating separate contractors around your builder.
How do you work out what size system I need?
We start with your power bills, ideally covering both summer and winter, and a look at your roof or ground space, switchboard and shading. On a farm or lifestyle block we also factor in pumps, sheds and any equipment that runs during the day, so the system is sized to how you actually use power.
